The Board will receive public comment on a proposal to restore a Business, Professional and Occupational License tax. The proposed tax has not been adopted.
A BPOL tax would be measured against business gross receipts rather than profit. The Board has not adopted a tax or final rate.
Stafford County voters · Countywide
Stafford voters will decide whether to authorize a local sales and use tax of up to 1% for eligible school construction, renovation and capital projects. A yes vote would authorize the Board of Supervisors to implement it; it would not itself select or fully fund individual projects.
The measure would affect the tax on eligible purchases and create a dedicated source for school capital needs. School operating expenses could not be paid from this revenue.
Board of Supervisors · Falmouth
Accokeek Center has requested a comprehensive-plan amendment, rezoning and a conditional-use permit for an electrical substation. The Planning Commission recommended approval; the Board of Supervisors has not granted final approval.
The requests would affect land-use designations and permitted development near Richmond Highway in Falmouth, including data-center uses and an electrical substation.

A rezoning request seeks to change approximately 162 acres along Enon Road from agricultural and light-industrial zoning to heavy-industrial zoning for up to 2 million square feet of data-center uses and related infrastructure. A separate electric-substation compliance review is also listed.
A zoning change would alter permitted land uses in Hartwood. The application and requested floor area are proposals, not an approved construction plan.
