What was requested
The initial portal request concerned properties receiving the disabled veteran tax benefit. In the subsequent email exchange, the requester narrowed the inquiry to aggregate annual counts, exempt assessed values and exemption totals rather than individual addresses.
What Stafford sent back
The County closed the portal request on September 17 after referring it to the Commissioner of the Revenue. In separate follow-up emails on September 28 and 29, Michael Arrigan supplied annual totals for 2015 through 2026 and the lowest and highest exempted property values. The 2026 row reports 5,575 active veteran exemptions, 66 surviving spouse exemptions, $3,535,838,500.00 in assessed value of exempt property and $32,834,393.14 in total exemptions. The follow-up reports an exempted property value range of $228,600 to $2,063,900.
What this response establishes
The portal referral and the later aggregate response are distinct events. No new portal request number appears in the reviewed follow-up emails. These are County-reported aggregate figures, not individual beneficiary records. No recipient names or residential addresses are published.
