A $250,000 federal community-project grant was announced for VDOT’s planned Leeland Road improvements in Stafford County.

Fredericksburg Free Press reported that the larger project is intended to add a two-way left-turn lane, crosswalk, sidewalks and bike lanes. The total project was estimated at $20.7 million, with the combined construction contract expected to finish in 2031.
